Prevent Amp POP

If you swapped out your factory head unit for an aftermarket one and now your system “pops” every time you cut the car on, try integrating a +5v voltage regulator in the set up.  The pop generally means “too much” power was sent to the amplifier(s) in the vehicle, and the aftermarket amp turn on wire puts out +12v.
